his is a short story I received by email, so I don't know about
availability, but several other
stories by the author are on the web. I won't be able to do a totally
honest review since the story got rewritten as a result of some
suggestions I made, but I'll do my best.
This is a nice small story, in the tradition of the science fiction short
story, with the main interest concentrated on an invention, and on the
morale that can be drawn from the consequences of getting it.
It shows a talent for descriptive narration and plotting, but unfortunately
also shows a weakness in keeping track of past and present tense, making the
story an enjoyable though at times tedious read.
